Trujillo: Radio local censura emisión de programa Investiga Live

El primer programa de “Investiga Live”, a cargo del equipo periodístico del portal web de noticias Investiga.pe, fue impedido de salir al aire por orden directa del administrador de Stereo Diplomat Radio 92.1 FM, en Trujillo.
Según explicaron Paul Acevedo y Renato Sandoval, integrantes del equipo de Investiga.pe, a la Oficina de los Derechos Humanos de la Asociación Nacional de Periodistas del Perú (ANP), la emisora, el 10 de enero, pactó verbalmente el otorgamiento de una hora de programación, cada lunes, para emitir Investiga Live, programa sin restricción de algún tipo, a cambio del pago por arriendo del espacio. El trato fue hecho, inicialmente, por un mes.
La emisión del primer programa fue pautada para el lunes 31 de enero a las 9 de la noche. Para dicha edición el equipo invitó a la excandidata a la alcaldía de la Municipalidad Provincial Trujillo,Verónica Torres Bravo, quien al parecer volverá a postular al mismo cargo.
Ya estando el equipo e invitada en la cabina para la emisión del programa de estreno, segundos antes de salir al aire, el operador de controles recibe la orden de no emitir dicho programa, según se supo, por orden de Pedro Burmester, administrador de Stereo Diplomat Radio.
La invitada, Verónica Torres, manifestó al equipo que dicha orden podría haber llegado debido a que ella ha presentado posturas críticas respecto al litigio sobre la propiedad del Club Libertad, que perdió la familia Burmester frente a la Municipalidad Provincial de Trujillo.
Después del impasse, Pedro Burmester se comunicó con el equipo de Investiga.pe, indicando que dicha decisión llegó porque “ella está vetada”. Frente a ello, el equipo periodístico emitió un comunicado señalando que “decidimos dar por terminada nuestra participación en Stereo Diplomat Radio y buscar espacios que permitan a Investiga informar con la independencia y la veracidad que abrazamos como bandera y que con el mayor de los respectos merecen nuestros seguidores”.
La Asociación Nacional de Periodistas del Perú – ANP reprueba la decisión tomada por la administración de Stereo Diplomat Radio 92.1 FM, la que califica de censura.
La ANP saluda la decisión de Investiga.pe de preservar su autonomía. El valor más preciado de un medio y un/a periodista es su independencia para informar con veracidad sobre lo que la sociedad necesita saber, y más en un contexto de elecciones regionales y municipales. Vetos a determinadas voces no tienen amparo en el ejercicio de las libertades informativas.
