La ANP Iquitos desarrolló con éxito el taller de capacitación sobre “Ética y legislación periodística. Periodismo y redes sociales. Periodismo de investigación”. Dicha actividad contó con la presencia de representantes del Comité Ejecutivo Nacional y compañeros de la ANP Requena.
Durante su exposición, el secretario general de la ANP, Renzo Chávez, abordó diferentes aspectos que debemos conocer en el uso periodístico que le damos a las redes sociales como la moderación de contenidos, derechos digitales, entre otros.
Seguido, la presidenta de la ANP, Zuliana Lainez, explicó detalladamente el marco normativo que rige en el Perú respecto al quehacer periodístico, haciendo énfasis en que la libertad de expresión tiene límites, lo que exige a hombres y mujeres de prensa cumplir un trabajo responsable y ético.
Por su parte, el jefe de la unidad de investigación del diario La República, Ángel Páez, compartió, desde su amplia experiencia como periodista de investigación, los aspectos básicos que se deben tener en cuenta cuando se desarrolla un destape periodístico, como la verificación de datos, la necesidad del respaldo documentario, entre otros.
También estuvieron presentes el secretario ejecutivo de Economía y Administración, Luis Úrsula; el secretario nacional de Acción Sindical, Otoniel Vela; y el secretario general de la Región IX, Omar Pérez.
La ocasión también fue propicia para que la presidenta de la ANP Iquitos, compañera Nélida Vargas, acompañara a la dirigencia nacional a recorrer el edificio institucional que la ANP tiene en dicha circunscripción, la misma que es fruto del trabajo y autogesión de esta base anepista.
Con esta actividad, el Comité Ejecutivo Nacional de la ANP continúa su labor de descentralizar su presencia en las diferentes filiales de la costa, sierra y selva del Perú.
