Temas como Periodismo en la cobertura de conflicto social, límites de la libertad de expresión y ética periodística generaron intensos debates entre los periodistas participantes.
La presidenta nacional de la ANP, Zuliana Lainez, la presidenta de la ANP Puno, Nélida Maquera y el secretario general de la región IX ANP, Omar Pérez Ruiz, animaron la participación citando casos en que los periodistas tienen conflictos de interés en la actividad, recordando situaciones en las que pueden incurrir en delitos contra el honor y reflexionando de manera colectiva en lo que hoy significa (y se puede hacer) en términos de objetividad, subjetividad y verosimilitud.
Un reconocimiento especial al Comité Directivo de la ANP Aguaytía, presidido por la periodista Giovana Calderón Ocsa, que demostró capacidad organizativa y de convocatoria.
El Comité Ejecutivo de la ANP continúa firme en su propósito de recorrer las bases para recoger, de primera mano, las urgencias y la problemática que afrontan cotidianamente los periodistas locales.
